Position Overview
We are recruiting for a medium-sized manufacturing and distribution organization based in Eden Prairie seeking a Senior Accountant with 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience. This role will be fully in-office for the first six months to support onboarding and cross-functional integration, then transition to a hybrid schedule (2–3 days per week in-office).
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring strong internal controls across a multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
- Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting
- Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and margin analysis
- Reconcile inventory, COGS, and related manufacturing accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support external audit requests and year-end audit preparation

Required Qualifications
