Job Summary
Join our professional finance team in Plymouth, MN. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant for a 120-day contract-to-hire role. This 100% in person position is open due to a recent promotion, offering excellent career growth potential.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys data accuracy and vendor relations. We offer a competitive hourly rate during the contract, with a permanent salary range of $65k – $75k.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Billing: Manage invoice generation and distribution to ensure consistent cash flow.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform daily sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations.
- Professional Correspondence: Conduct “soft collections” via email. Note: This is relationship-focused with very little phone work, but there is some phone work required.
- Data Analysis: Use Intermediate Excel daily for spreadsheets and month-end reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Completed or in-progress Accounting/Business degree or certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Accounting/Receivables experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Communication: Strong written and interpersonal skills for inter-departmental collaboration.
- Commitment: Must be able to commit to the full 120-day contract period.
Contract Rate: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour.
